I could be referring to the blast of cherry blossoms, tulips or cottonwood. Or this week’s bluster of rain and wind. Instead, my thoughts are full with planning for the release of Beyond the Ripples, my debut Oregon-based novel, in just a few weeks.
Above all else, I feel such gratitude for the support I have received from so many during the past 18 months while sharing My Music Man, blogs posted on this site, and my upcoming novel. It was more than I imagined, back as I released my memoir in October 2017, that I would be honored to round out over a year of book talks by sharing it as a 2019 Oregon Capitol Foundation Speaker on Oregon’s 2019 February 14 birthday. (You can watch the recording if you missed it.)
Would you like to read a free e-book version of Beyond the Ripples prior to its official release and in exchange for a fair review? I’d love to send copies in the next week to the first 7 people interested in reading it early and posting reviews (to Amazon/GoodReads). Email me for details!
PRAISE FOR BEYOND THE RIPPLES

A big thanks to these endorsing authors for taking the time to read the book and share their praise. Learn more about Beyond the Ripples and watch the trailer here.
If you’re nearby, I’d love to see you at my Book Launch Party on Sunday, May 19 from 2 – 4 pm at the Willamette Ale & Cider House in Historic Willamette, West Linn. See the Facebook event or Eventbrite invite. Look for other readings on my Events page. And, of course, do go out and enjoy the bursting cherry blossoms, tulips and cottonwood…but you might need an umbrella.
