Of posts, publications and possibilities

Today is publication day for Beyond the Ripples! Yippee! In addition to three wonderful author endorsements, I am pleased to see the first (of hopefully many) reader reviews to show up on GoodReads and Amazon.

I appreciate Women Writers, Women’s Books for featuring my essay today on their website. When I wrote it I wasn’t particularly thinking about how it leads into my new novel’s lead characters’ actions and thoughts, but oh my….yes, certainly it does. Read the essay, An Event at Midlife: Crisis, Challenge, Breakthrough, or Opportunity?

I hope you will pick up a hard or e-book version of Beyond the Ripples, and/or join me at an upcoming event. You can find the new book online at Powell’s (hopefully on the shelf there soon), IndieBound, and other online sources like Barnes & Noble, and Amazon. Do request it from your favorite bookstore or library, and look for it soon at Portland’s Another Read Through.

Finally, I hope to see you at one of my upcoming events, that I continue to schedule. Upcoming dates include:

  • Sunday, May 19 from 2-3:30 pm, Book Launch Party, Willamette Cider and Ale House See Facebook event or Eventbrite.
  • Saturday, June 22 from 2-3 pm, Reading and signing West Linn Public Library, 1595 Burns Street, West Linn.
  • Thursday, June 11 from 7-8 pm, Reading and signing, Another Read Through, 3932 North Mississippi, Portland.
  • Books, signing and chat, Stafford Hamlet Family Fest, 10 AM – 2 PM, Fiala Farms, 21231 Johnson Road, West Linn, OR.

Stay tuned for more opportunities. And as always, thanks for your support, interest, comments and best thoughts. Smell a tulip or rose, give a hug, and enjoy May Day!
